Certification
Aurum Organic ensures that all of our products and procedures adhere to strict environmental guidelines. This applies to the products we produce as well as the products we use. From sales and marketing we encourage very little use of paper products, when we do need to use paper products we only use FSC certified paper. The apparel is manufactured using the Control Union standard for textiles. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a comprehensive Standard that covers all the aspects of the production of all natural fibers including processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, exportation, importation and distribution. The original goal of GOTS was “to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling, in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer”. This standard has become universally accepted and is what we strive for in all aspects of our products. We continue to seek out GOTS certified manufacturers of dyes and inks, to offer finished goods with this certification.
